Robin’s Promise Yarn headed to the Vogue Knitting Live 2020
Bliss on tap is evidently what we’re going for here at The Flying Needles. We are absolutely OVER THE MOON to announce that Robin’s Promise Yarn is taking flight, literally, and headed to vend at Vogue Knitting Live in New York City Jan. 16-19.
Susan applied to a special program – Vogue Knitting’s Launch Pad: A Small Business Development Program. Applicants came from all around the world, and Susan was one of 20 accepted. She is taking part in a 5-week program will provide her with resources and support designed for small businesses, including a vendor spot at VKL.
In the meantime, catch Robin’s Promise – yarn dyed right here in Williamsburg, Va., including Susan’s Pheasant Series, at The Flying Needles.
Robin’s Promise Yarn, dyed in Williamsburg, VA, is the result of Susan Dickerson’s bird-watching and owning a yarn shop – The Flying Needles in Williamsburg. Believing in color, there is no greater palette than nature’s, which is why all her colors are named after birds and nature. The name comes from Susan’s belief that robins are the harbingers of hope and good things to come – the promise of hope. Stay tuned for an online shopping portal for Robin’s Promise Yarn.
Vogue Knitting Live convenes thousands of knitting enthusiasts for a weekend high-fashion, high-intensity convention for yarn fanatics. Knit-couture fashion shows will be held every day at this year’s market.
