March 14, 2017 –
If you love some mindless knitting back and forth, this shawl is for YOU! Another wonder from designer Martina Behm, the Lintilla is long with a narrow triangular, slightly asymmetrical construction and a beautiful scalloped, subtly ruffled edge that is really fun to make. Another Behm pattern named after Douglas Adams‘ The Hitchhiker‘s Guide to the Galaxy, Lintilla is an intelligent and beautiful woman (she appeared only in the BBC radio play, not in the books), who was accidentally cloned too many times, so her pretty face could be spotted in every part of the galaxy. Join guest Instructor and S&B knit night ringleader MaryAnne Teale for this class! Come by the Flying Needles to take a gander at the shop sample Yarnista Janice Feld whipped on and off her needles in Unplanned Peacock hand-dyed yarn! Don’t miss this 2-session class from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, March 14 & 28.
