This three-tiered crochet masterpiece is made using sock yarn, so it is light-weight enough for Southern winters while also being nice and cozy. In this class, you will learn how to work with an increasing repeat pattern and get very comfortable with the treble crochet stitch. Our Crochet Queen Jo Emanuelson will teach this 2-session class:
- 2 to 4 pm, Tuesdays, Aug. 14 & 21
- 2 to 4 pm Tuesdays, Sept. 18 & 25
- 2 to 4 pm Tuesdays, Oct. 16 & 23

Class Level: Intermediate
Skills required: Comfortable with chain, slip stitch, single, half-double, double, and treble (triple) crochet stitches, some experience with pattern reading
What you will learn: Reading a stitch diagram and pattern, adjusting a pattern to suit individual needs
Materials: 1000 yds fingering/sock wt yarn (sample made with Malabrigo sock yarn), G/6 and H/7 hooks (or 4.00mm and 4.50mm), stitch markers
HOMEWORK: Practice rows of half-double, double, and treble crochet stitches
