Our beginning knitters are popping up like baby bunnies! Here’s a beginning beanie that’s ever so popular right now. This Sockhead Slouch Hat by Kelly McClure will have you knitting in the round like a pro! It’s gonna be fun, we promise! Yarnista & Owner Susan Dickerson will lead this 2-session class held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Fridays, July 14 & 28 & from 10 to Noon Thursday, July 20 & Aug. 3.

Class Level: Beginner
Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl & bind off
What you will learn: knitting in the round, ribbing, how to read a pattern & use double pointed needles, & k2tog decrease
Materials: 350-400 yards of sock or fingering yarn, size 2.5 circular needles in 16” length, size 2.5 double pointed needles 8”, stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving ends
