START NOW AND HAVE A LOVELY PULLOVER for fall & winter! Top-down, seamless with a little texture the So Faded is a gorgeous way to get your COLOR ON! This class is for built for the adult sized version or the pint-sized version. Sizes on this pattern range from a bust size of 18” to 58” (12 months to 3X). Yarnista & Owner Susan Dickerson will teach this 4-session class held from 1 to 3 pm Saturdays, Aug. 18, Sept. 1, 15 & 29. This class launches Saturday Aug. 18 to take advantage of AAAAAAALL the color ways Queen City Yarns will be bringing in on Friday & Saturday, Aug. 17 & 18.

Class Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off
What you will learn: Importance of gauge, top-down sweater construction without seams, pattern & chart reading, M1L, M1R, using waste yarn to hold stitches, knit sleeves top down on magic loop, picking up stitches for ribbing and binding off in pattern
Materials: 5 colors of fingering weight yarn WOUND (adult version requires 800 to 1475 yards; child version required 252 to 773 yards), size 3 & 5 circular needles with 24” AND 32”cables or comparable needles to achieve gauge, stitch markers, tape measure, gauge guide, tapestry needle for yarn tails, waste yarn for placing work on hold, scissors, a pencil, a highlighter**
HOMEWORK: Knit a 4” x 4” swatch (stockinette stitch – knit on right side & purl on wrong side) with your needles & yarn and confirm gauge PRIOR to 1st class (please see us if you need assistance). Stitch gauge should be 25 stitches & 32 rows = 4” (6.25 stitches & 8 rows = 1”)

**Notes for So Faded: You will be writing on your pattern. Please bring a copy if you don’t want to mark your original. Have 1 or 2 skeins of your yarn wound prior to class if it comes in hanks. If you are uncertain of your size or the number of skeins you need, remember that wound yarn cannot be returned.
