Are you searching the souk for treasures? You’ll find one in On the Spice Market, an asymmetrical triangle shawl featuring a zesty mixture of color, textures, slipped stitches, and short rows. This 98.5” shawl size lets you style it a variety of ways—however you do, it will be a head-turner! The garter stitch stripes and contrast slipped stitch rows are perfect for showcasing a seven colors of Fingering Weight yarns. Yarnista & Owner Susan Dickerson is teaching this 2-session class offered Tuesdays 3 to 5 pm Nov. 20 & Dec. 3.

Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl and bind off
What you will learn: Add colors to a project, kfb, kfbf, k2tog, m3f3, wyib & wyif, German short rows and double stitch
Materials: Fingering weight yarn - 379 yds of main color, 112 yds color 2, 108yds color 3, 98 yds color 4, 87 yds color 5, 76 color 6, 69 color 7; size US 6 or 7 circular needles 32” length or longer if you prefer, a cable needle, 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving ends
