April 23, 2018 –
You know you have one: that skein of hand-painted yarn or gorgeously crazy variegated yarn you fell in love with & purchased! It’s been sitting in your stash and you’ve never been able to find the right project for it. Meet Garden Party! This pattern, DESIGNED BY MARIE GREENE, ONE OF OUR FEATURED DESIGNED AT OUR INAUGURAL RETREAT, was designed to strategically make use of a variegated yarn that can be gorgeous in the skein but difficult to pair with a perfect pattern. This design highlights that Oh So Special Yarn while adding a bit of all-over texture with eyelet blossoms. The borders create an anchor to contain the color. (And the border doesn’t take much, so you might already have a solid in your stash that compliments.)
