This summer sweater caught our eye and is the perfect way to get your cotton or linen ON! The body of this sweater is knit sideways. Mixed with dropped stitches, this sweater is simply breathtaking! This 4-session class will be led by Yarnista & Owner Susan Dickerson from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays, May 10 & 24, June 7 & 21.

Class Level: Intermediate
Skills required: Knit, purl, cast on & bind off
What you will learn: Seaming sleeves, ktbl, ptbl, picking up stitches & knitting, cabling
Materials: 992 to 1384 yards of either linen or cotton DK yarn, size US 9 needles 32” cable, cable needle, stitch markers, a tapestry needle
Pattern: Forest Weave Sweater, $7 Ravelry download or $8 printed pattern
HOMEWORK: Knit a 4” x 4” swatch (stockinette stitch – knit on right side & purl on wrong side) with your needles & yarn and confirm gauge PRIOR to 1st class (please see us if you need assistance). Guage 17 sts x 23 rows = 4” blocked
