Use your fingering weight yarn leftovers for this CHEVRON cowl that matches the hat that first debuted on The Flying Needles January calendar. This AWESOME use of leftover fingering weight yarn cowl by Ann Weaver, one of the DESIGNERS COMING FOR OUR INAUGURAL RETREAT! READ ALL ABOUT IT HERE!! was created as a companion to Ann’s Monomania sweater. The cowl uses a total of 325 to 575 yards of fingering or sport weight yarn. She’s even mixed sport and fingering weight yarns in this pattern with great success. This two-session class is taught by Yarnista & Owner Susan Dickerson begins:

Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl and bind off
What you will learn: Knit in the round & add yarns to your project, stretchy bind off
Materials: This pattern is in two sizes, small or large. 325 or 575 yards of fingering weight yarn; size US 6 & 4 circular needles 16” or 24” length, stitch markers and a tapestry needle for weaving ends
