Class Level: Intermediate
Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit & purl, have consistent tension, and have cabled prior to this class (WE RECOMMEND THE FIRST CABLED SCARF CLASS IF YOU HAVE NEVER CABLED)
What you will learn: Read a chart, moss stitch, cabling, mattress stitch seaming
Materials: 984 yards of worsted or bulky yarn, US size 10 needles (for bulky) or US 13 (for worsted) 24” or 32” cable (or size to accomplish gauge), stitch markers, highlighter
Pattern: Double Cabled Poncho, FREE on Ravelry
HOMEWORK: Knit a 4” x 4” swatch (stockinette stitch – knit on knit side & purl on purl side) with your needles & yarn and confirm gauge of 12 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches
