This advanced cabled sweater class is a gorgeous Chic Knits classic by Bonnie Marie Burns and will have your friends assuming this was a boutique sweater! For those who want a hood added to this sweater, two extra classes have been added for picking up the stitches and the three-needle bind-off from 10 am to 12 pm Saturdays March 24 & April 7. Guest Instructor and Cable Queen Janice Feld is offering this class.

Class Level: Advanced Intermediate
Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl, cable and read a knitting chart
What you will learn: Importance of gauge, advanced cabling, three-needle bind off
Materials: 1285 to 1920 yards worsted weight yarn WOUND, size 6 & 7 needles either straight or circular (your preference), a cable needle, stitch markers, tape measure, gauge guide, tapestry needle for yarn tails and for placing work on holders, scissors, pencil, highlighter, highlighter tape

Cost: $60 with 24-hour advance reservation / $75 walk-in
**Notes: You will be writing on your pattern. Please bring a copy if you don’t want to mark your original. The shop sample is knitted in Ultra Alpaca, which is Janice’s suggested yarn. Have 1 or 2 skeins of your yarn wound prior to class. Janice requests that you have cast on and finished the bottom ribbing of your sweater prior to class.
