Need a shawl for your evening beach walking or dock sitting for spring & summer? Look NO FURTHER! This Cabled Shawl is the perfect addition to anyone’s wardrobe. Carry at all times for those moments when you get a chill and a jacket would stymie the Fashionista in you! Yarnista & Cable Queen Janice Feld will have you methodically twisting & turning your yarn until you’re a cable ARTISTE! This 2-session class is from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, April 4 & 18. The class, limited to 6, also is offered again from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays, June 8 & 22.

Class Level: Adventurous beginner and above
Skills required: You must be able to cast on, knit & purl
What you will learn: Beginning lace pattern, cabling
Materials: 872 yds of worsted yarn (we recommend Plymouth’s Merino Superwash) & size 10 circular needles with at least a 32” cable, (optional) size 10 circular needles with a 47” cable, stitch markers, highlighter tape, a cable needle & a tapestry needle
