February 6, 2017 –
We’ve added quite a few new knitters to the craft with our beginning knitting classes. We wanted to provide a next level option for these knitters, thus the Block of the Month was born. This 2nd Block of the Month hails from Martin Storey’s 2016 Knit Along & will teach you to knit a texture into your fabric! Once complete, you can use your block as a hot pad, pair it with a pretty soap for a Valentine’s gift, or keep on knitting – we think these would be a super cute baby blanket! Guest Instructor and S&B knit night ringleader MaryAnne Teal will tame your needles and teach you how to read a knitting chart in 1 session - from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6.
All materials can be purchased for 10% off after registering by stopping by or calling us at (757) 345-3655. The class is limited to 6 people.
