Turn that frown upside down with this Anemone HAT! This Anemone Hat by Cat Bordhi is sure to cause strangers to stop, stare and grin with this FUNKINESS! Guest Instructor and S&B knit night ringleader MaryAnne Teal will lead you through this adventure of purposefully creating hat-dreadlocks that cover this chapeau! This 3-session class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, March 15, 22 & 29.

Class Level: Intermediate
Skills required: You must be able to cast on and knit & purl, familiarity with knitting in the round and with magic loop
What you will learn: Cat Bordhi’s moebius cast on, Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off, knit in the round using magic loop, making three-dimensional “dreadlocks”
Materials: 225-300 yards of worsted/aran weight yarn, size 8 circular needle in 40” length, stitch markers and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends
