The Danzig

Named after Danzig, or Gdansk in Polish, one of the pattern designer’s favorite cities in Poland, the Danzig is an awesome shawl to learn short row techniques! We’ve seen this shawl inverted with dark colors as the main color and light ones as the pebbles. We call this knit equivalent to a summer romance novel. It’s a very forgiving pattern and requires minimal concentration – just on the pebble rows. It’s perfect for someone who has never done short rows before.
